Waiting for PIN V.. memories from past ones!
Hello PanoPeople!
Waiting for the official announcement of this year's line-up, we thought it would have been a good idea to give space to memories of past PINs.
Obviously, let's start from a souvenir of the first PIN.. a very special one!
Not only because it was a great moment of music, but also because.. somehow, it was the moment I understood that Panoplie Italian Nights were going to become something special.
Here you have our friends Athebustop & Emilie Bold (featuring August in Fall) playing a wonderful cover of a Damien Rice song: ENJOY!!

PIN V: line-up teaser..
Hello PanoPeople!!
A quick post, just to tell you that our work on Panoplie Italian Nights V is going forward rapidly..
We have already confirmed at least half of the line-up!!
We can't yet tell you names, but the official announcement could be not too far..
We can tell you we should not have too many acts, probably just 4, 2 par night.
But.. 4 really great ones!!
We say we're preparing a festival with 4 headliners.. and you will agree, I'm sure!!

Panoplie Italian Nights.. a 5 years' history!!
Hello PanoPeople!!
Like we said, we're working hard, these days, on PIN V.
Incredible for us to think that it's already the 5th year of our festival.. it seems yesterday, when this small association, already organising big events, started dreaming about a bigger one: a 2-days festival, to close the season with!
It sounded like a crazy dream, at the beginning, but then.. it took form!
We managed to organise the first one, its success brought to a second the year after.. and it went on until now!
In the coming days we'll post a few videos of the history of PIN.. check this blog!

The 5th year is a really important goal.. which needs a celebration!
First big piece of new is the location: the second night of PIN V will take place at our beloved d:qliq, but the first.. will be at Exit07!!
Another wonderful venue, bigger than d:qliq, where we already took Calibro 35 to play in the past, with great pleasure and success.
We already thought of splitting PIN between the two venues last year, this year it's done, and.. in the end we really needed it!
Why? Because the line-up of this year is.. something special!
We can't announce it, but believe us, it's gonna be an incredible PIN V!!

And we probably will have to go for pre-sales.. BE READY!!

Panoplie Italian Nights V: news coming soon!!

A quick post just to tell you that these days are busy: we should soon confirm the complete line-up of
Panoplie Italian Nights V!!
We can't tell you names, yet, but.. believe us, it's gonna be HUGE!!
Not many acts, probably just two par night, but.. AWESOME ONES!!

Panoplie: news and season's greetings
Hello PanoPeople!!
Quite a long time you haven't been getting news from Panoplie, isn't it?
Well, here we are: we didn't disappear!! And we will go on bringing you great live music in Luxembourg, you can still count on us.
We have only decided to.. slow down a bit, meaning that we want to organise less events, but bigger ones!!
This mail to explain you the situation in the most transparent way, as usual.
During the first 4 years of Panoplie, we have organised nearly 50 events: it has been great, but it really wasn't possible to go on like that.
First of all because, as you know, this is not a job, for us, but a pure passion: this means, amongst others, that our resources are limited, not only in terms of money, but also of time, energy..
But the most important reason is another: when we created Panoplie, Luxembourg had just a couple of concert venues, and not so many gigs around, normally.
People was demanding live music a lot, so it was the right situation to organise, in average, one event par month.
Nowadays, the offer of live music has exploded, in the Grand-Duchy: lots of venues, tons of concerts.. sometimes even too many!
Good example can be last November 18th: Midlake & John Grant at den Atelier, Gaëtan Roussel at Rockhal, Giardini di Mirò at d:qliq.. plus another couple in smaller places! It was really hard to know where to go, and in the end all of the gigs suffered a bit from this.
We obviously are happy of this development, but it forces us to focus our energies.
What will be the future of Panoplie, then?
We will continue to organise Panoplie Italian Nights (our yearly festival, in June), and add to this a couple of events par year.
And this is the good occasion to announce.. PANOPLIE ITALIAN NIGHTS V !!
The 5th edition will take place at Exit07 (Friday, June 10th) and d:qliq (Saturday, June 11th): note it on your new agenda!!
We can't yet tell you the line-up, but.. IT'S GONNA BE HUGE.
We'll let you know more soon, through this mailing list, as well as this blog.
